Managing nutrient protocols more easily: EVER relieves the burden on therapists and biohackers

Instead of Excel chaos and paper clutter: EVER helps therapists create clear protocols that are easy for patients to understand – including smart product recommendations.

Creating nutrient logs for patients is a considerable amount of work. Unfortunately, there is no software that effectively supports both therapists and patients in this process. What does exist are apps that can remind patients which tablets they need to take and when. However, the patients themselves have to create these schedules within the app.

With EVER, we want to go a whole step further. As useful as nutrient protocols are, they are very time-consuming (and are rarely, if ever, reimbursed, at least not by doctors who have to bill according to the German fee schedule for physicians). Every doctor or therapist who works according to the principles of functional medicine knows this:

The greater the deficiencies in the patients, the more micro- and macronutrients need to be taken into account.

The starting point is usually measured values (e.g., from laboratory tests), and the individual protocol developed based on these. My own longevity protocol, which I am currently using as a guide, demonstrates the scope such a protocol can have.

Many people resort to Excel spreadsheets or similar solutions. In my own practice, I worked with paper notes for years, later trying out various software approaches. The first problem was always:

Why can't I have the measurements and the nutrient log together in one database?

Furthermore, the protocol must also be "readable" by the patients so they can use it as a guide for their daily intake. Ideally, it should be organized by time of day, from waking up in the morning until late in the evening. However, the physician's approach is quite different: they focus on illnesses, symptoms, and the diagnostic findings!

What looks sensible to the therapist in the protocol often appears to patients as a confusing jumble, because perhaps what they have to take in the evening is at the very top, while what is important in the morning on an empty stomach is somewhere at the bottom.

Wouldn't it be great to have software that, on the one hand, helps therapists ensure they don't overlook anything important, and on the other hand, is able to present the final results in a clear and organized way, showing patients what they need to take, in what quantity, and at what time of day? And, if desired, via SMS, email, or even WhatsApp.

But as a therapist, you face another problem:

Which specific products should be recommended in each individual case?

Many manufacturers offer interesting active ingredient complexes that can contain a variety of individual substances. When combining several preparations, care must be taken to ensure that no single active ingredient is administered in excessively high doses.

While working strictly with preparations that each contain only one nutrient makes it easier to keep track, this can become expensive and complicated for the patient because it quickly results in a large number of packages and substances:

Who wants to swallow 30 or more pills a day?

Wouldn't it be helpful if the software could, based on the nutrient log or the identified deficiencies, make product suggestions and also recognize overlaps or redundancies ?

The therapist would save a considerable amount of time, and in many cases the patients would benefit from lower costs, if the software could suggest the optimal combination of medications.

That is exactly the goal of EVER!

A first version will be completed in March 2025, allowing interested therapists and healthcare providers to test it in advance and exclusively. They will be able to create protocols, receive product recommendations, and have the software suggest suitable product combinations.

We will also invite a number of biohackers and longevity enthusiasts to get feedback from the perspective of end users.

Because EVER is intended to support not only therapists, but also their patients:

Users will see all relevant data in an optimally presented format, can take notes, and provide feedback to their therapist. The app will also allow users to (re)order dietary supplements.

We have big plans! If you're interested in getting to know EVER better without obligation, you can register for early access .
