Preventive medicine, longevity and functional health in everyday life with Dr. Max Griessinger
Dr. Max Griessinger is a physician, entrepreneur, and EVER Founding Expert. His focus: Preventive medicine should address the root causes of health in everyday life – through sleep, regeneration, and individualized nutritional protocols.
Preventive medicine has long faced a challenge. It only became important when illness seemed far away—too far to take real action. Today we know better. Sleep quality, regeneration, the immune system, and long-term performance don't change suddenly. They shift slowly, imperceptibly, in everyday life, in routines, and in small, recurring decisions. Dr. Max Griessinger works precisely at this point, where health is created or lost—not in exceptional circumstances, but in normal life.
Disease prevention
Dr. Max Griessinger studied human medicine at the Medical University of Innsbruck. Even during his studies, it became clear to him that medical knowledge alone is insufficient if it isn't translated into practical structures. Health isn't a state one achieves once and for all. It's dynamic. It depends on sleep, stress, nutrient supply, inflammatory processes, and regeneration. Above all, it depends on whether people understand what's happening in their bodies. Early on, he became interested in functional medicine, biohacking, and the question of what prevention must look like to be truly implemented in everyday life. Not idealized. Not dogmatic. But realistic.
N = 1
A central principle in Max's work is N = 1. His own body as the starting point.
Evidence-based medicine forms the foundation. However, it is not considered in isolation from the individual context. Data should provide guidance, not create new dependencies. Health is observed, not standardized. Theory remains important, but is always reflected in practice. This results in an approach to functional medicine that is scientifically grounded and simultaneously acknowledges that people react, live, and prioritize differently.
MoleQlar and the idea of prevention as infrastructure
With the founding of MoleQlar GmbH in 2020, Max Griessinger translated this attitude into an entrepreneurial form. As founder and managing director, he pursues a clear vision: Preventive medicine should be understandable, measurable, and practical for everyday life.
When you delve deeper into the molecular mechanisms of aging, you inevitably encounter one substance: NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide). NMN is a precursor of NAD⁺, a key coenzyme that plays a crucial role in almost all cellular metabolic processes and whose levels decline with age.
The work of David Sinclair, PhD (Harvard University), made NAD⁺ and its precursors a central topic in longevity research. At the same time, the market, particularly in Europe, was problematic: NMN is not a typical dietary supplement here, but is regulated as a chemical. Consequently, the supply was limited, and the quality of many products, especially those from online marketplaces, was often questionable.
This is precisely where Moleqlar came in. One of their initial priorities was to solve this very real problem for users: high-purity, clean NMN, transparently manufactured and tested. For many people who were already seriously engaged with longevity at that time, this wasn't a matter of convenience, but a genuine obstacle.
Since then, MoleQlar has been developing tools, diagnostics, and products that help people better understand their own biology. Not as a replacement for medical care, but as a complement that strengthens personal responsibility. Prevention is not seen here as a short-term project, but as a long-term strategy.
Prevention in practice
Max's logs in the EVER app
The protocols developed by Max Griessinger in the EVER app demonstrate what this approach looks like in practice. They are deliberately kept clear and concise, without unnecessary complexity.
The Sleep Stack – For Deep Sleep and REM protocol addresses one of the most crucial factors for health and longevity: sleep. Its aim is to support deep sleep and REM phases and provide the nervous system with better conditions for regeneration in the evening. Sleep is not taken for granted here, but rather viewed as a biological process that can be supported.
The Cold Stack complements this approach for periods of increased stress, early susceptibility to infection, or inflammatory stress responses. The focus is on the immune system, inflammatory balance, and cellular stability. This protocol also does not claim to be therapeutic but rather serves to provide structured support for a balanced micronutrient intake.
Both protocols follow the same principle: intervene early, stabilize systems, before dysregulation occurs.
Sharing knowledge without oversimplifying
In addition to his entrepreneurial work, Dr. Max Griessinger is co-host of the “Beyond Lifespango” podcast. Together with Dr. Mario Gietl, he discusses longevity, preventive medicine, performance, and the future of modern healthcare concepts.
The tone is thoughtful, not preachy. Complex topics are not simplified, but rather explained in an understandable way. On LinkedIn, Max also shares insights into his work as a doctor and entrepreneur, thoughts on self-leadership and health, as well as observations from his practice in preventive medicine.
Why Max is part of EVER Founding Experts
EVER aims to digitally represent preventive and functional medicine in a way that provides guidance without denying its complexity. Max Griessinger contributes a perspective that combines medical training, entrepreneurial thinking, and practical application. His focus on prevention, sleep, regeneration, and longevity complements the platform with an approach that is structured, calm, and responsible. Not loud. Not overly promising. But sustainable.
Prevention as a possibility
Max doesn't see health as a self-optimization project, nor biohacking as an end in itself. His approach aims to empower people to make informed decisions—early, consciously, and autonomously. Preventive medicine thus becomes an option, not an obligation, and longevity something that arises when the right structures are in place.
